Given a detailed specification or a clear statement of work, EDesignWare will quote a fixed price, or if you prefer, we will work on a time and materials basis with an estimate. All project cost estimates carry a risk of inaccuracy. At EDesignWare, we believe that we should absorb the risk, not the customer.
Often we work with clients on a retainer basis. This works out well when ad-hoc support is needed. We are able to give the client a favorable rate and will be available when needed. EDesignWare is responsible for getting approval for any work requested that exceeds the retainer. We find that this allows the client to retain cost control while receiving rapid support.
